Unforgettable Moments- Mix Media Beach themed Layout

Hi Crafters!  Varsha here!

We love the beach and I tend to capture a lot of moments while we are there! Photographs I am using here are from Goa trip...

Have a look at my new project which I am sharing with you all....

I used 12*12 cardboard and then I chose a pattern paper from "Dress My Craft - Hydrangea Lawns paper pack" collection to create a base layer for my layout.

Then I separated a roughly cut portion from the pattern paper (I used to create the base layer) and then I made the edges of the portion, pattern paper and cardboard rough with the help of Comfort Craft Distressing Tool.

I used art anthology stencil with art basics heavy Gesso texture paste to create a texture over the pattern paper and cardboard. After drying out the texture with the help of heat gun I pasted the pattern paper over the cardboard as shown below in the pictures.

After that I used Lindy's spray - Drop Dead Diva - Starburst Sprays (Blue and Green) and acrylic brown color  for coloring the base which will make the background beautiful and attractive. You all can use your own color combinations.

As I wanted to focus on photographs, as these are the main element on my layout design so I framed the photographs with resin (bought from Craft Junction) and wooden frame. I also used chipboard, painted with brown acrylic color and placed and pasted them below the photographs as shown below in the pictures.

I wanted to create some drama on the layout so I used a lot of flowers from "Little birdie- Sparkle handmade Flowers" which I bought from Itsy Bitsy then added a few shells on the corner of layout and besides the photographs.

I finished this layout with texture sand using Glue gel, and used "Galrielle pollacco" Stencil to create net background and for creating the background I used Lawn fawndamentals premium dye ink pad- Black Licorice and then further beautified the layout with splatters (White, Brown and black acrylic paints) and golden tinted metallic paint over the flowers, frames and background.

Couple love showpiece

Show Piece - "Couple -Anniversary Special"

Hi Crafters,

Hope you all are doing fine. With this summer heat I am presenting you guys a new project which will showcase the coolness of love with Garden Theme.

I am sharing the new project with you all. You can gift this beautiful handmade Couple Love anniversary showpiece to your partner, parents and friends.

Let’s have a sneak peak of the project

Base: Made a base with cardboard, taping on side of cardboard and paste pattern paper on it.
Then I decorated the base with beach stones.

Basket with Plant: First I used the acrylic green color to color the basket and then placed a colored Cotton with artificial plant over the basket. Then I pasted rose - artificial flower made with silk fabric,  on the base of the basket using glue gun. I also used Lindy's Spray yellow color over the rose flower.

After that I carved out the couple die and glued them over the wooden stick using glue gun.  

I finished this project with happy anniversary tag and covered the boundaries with garden locks carved out of garden lock die cut and decorated it with yellow rose flower.

#3 MY LOVE Wall hanging

'MY LOVE Wall Hanging'

Hello Crafters,

Today I am sharing a easy & simple wall hanging with you all!

Let’s have a sneak peak of the project.

I started with a white base (10"x 10") using 280 gsm white ivory sheet. Then, I layered beautiful vintage pattern papers and gave rough and fine rasp surface with Comfort Craft Distressing Tool.

 I added foam double sided tape between two papers to add more dimension. 

For background I used Dress my craft stencil with art basics heavy gesso which I bought from Crafters Corner.  After that I used Lindy's spray - Drop Dead Diva - Starburst Sprays (yellow and green) for coloring. Dried it all and then layered vintage pattern paper pieces.

I finished the project with Die cut leaves using Ready to Bloom - Die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, handmade beautiful flowers using spellbinder texture flower die, Fussy cut the stamped image and stuck it on the project using double sided tape and splatters (Brown and black acrylic paints).
