This project is all about remembering
the old days through our memory lane. This beautiful creation depicts the
beautiful bond of naughtiness and love between brother and sister and will make
you remember your childhood.
Here is my DT
project:
Now I am going to
explain the steps to create a beautiful card.
Supplies used:
1. Ivory sheet 280
gsm
2. little birdie
brick stencil from Itsy Bitsy
3. Art basics
heavy gesso white from Crafters Corner
4. Distress Inks from
Crafters Corner
5. Blending tool
from Crafters Corner
6. Tinted metallic
red paint from Itsy bitsy
7. Wooden
embellishments- clock button and frame
8. White lace from
Itsy Bitsy
9. Heartfelt
creation wildwood cottage darling from Itsy Bitsy
10. Copic sketch
from Stationery fair in Delhi
11. Zig clean
color water brush pens from Amazon.
12. Double sided
foam tape
13. Sentiments
rubber stamps
14. Window die cut
from Alibaba
Steps
Step 1: I cut a
280gsm ivory sheet with 9*9 inches measurement
in the shape of a square then I cut two additional layers of 280gsm ivory sheet
each 1/2 inch smaller than the previous one(i.e. 8.5 *8.5 inches and 8*8 inches
respectively).
Step 2: I took 8*8
inch sheet and placed brick stencil to create a texture. The texture was created
with heavy gesso white over the brick stencil.
Step 3: I colored
the face and arms in player one digital stamp with E00, E11 and E12 Copic
sketch colors and rest of the stamp with Zig clean water brush pens as shown in
below picture.
Step 4. Once the
texture in Step 1 is dried, I again placed brick stencil over the texture and
blended the texture with distress inks as shown in below picture.
Step 5: For
further decoration of the card I used the heartfelt creation stamp, window die cut,
clock button, wooden embellishment, white lace, blue pattern paper and finished
it with Happy Birthday Brother sentiment.
Step 6: I further
placed all the elements as shown in below picture and have pasted the 8*8 inch
paper over 8.5*8.5 inch paper with double sided tape. Further the 8.5*8.5 inch
paper was pasted over 9*9 inch base layer with the help of double sided tape.
The Final product
can be seen in below picture.
I am adding my
project to the following challenges:
